The Service uses AI technology to analyze your entries and generate content. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Account Registration

To use Storyvue, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You May:

• Use StoryVue for your personal career development
• Add accurate information about your work history and achievements
• Generate CV content based on your reflections
• Export your data at any time

You May Not:

• Share your account with others
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

5. Your Content

Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create in StoryVue (your reflections, work history, achievements, etc.). We don't claim ownership of your content.

License to Us

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the Service
• Use AI models to analyze your content and generate insights
• Create aggregated, anonymized data for service improvement

This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. You warrant that:

• You own or have the right to use the content you submit
• Your content doesn't violate any laws or third-party rights
• Your content is accurate and not misleading

6. AI-Generated Content

You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content should be reviewed and edited before use in job applications
• We are not responsible for the accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated content
• You should verify all facts, figures, and claims before submitting them to employers
• AI outputs are suggestions, not professional career advice or guarantees of employment

7. Billing and Payments

Subscription Plans

StoryVue offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the subscription fees for your chosen plan
• Provide accurate billing information
• Allow automatic renewal unless you cancel before the renewal date

Cancellation and Refunds

• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial months, except as required by law
• You retain access to your data after cancellation

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price increase takes effect.

8. Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Fail to pay subscription fees

• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Any defects will be corrected

Not Professional Advice

StoryVue is a tool for career reflection and CV generation. It does not provide:

• Professional career counseling or coaching
• Employment guarantees or job placement services
• Legal, financial, or other professional advice

Consult with qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoryVue and its team shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service
• Outcomes of job applications based on Storyvue-generated content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StoryVue from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit to the Service

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. For users in the United States, applicable state and federal laws also apply.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Australia, unless otherwise required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
